Pengembangan Aplikasi Augmented Reality untuk Visualisasi Interaktif Pembelajaran Fisika

Kemajuan teknologi digital menyebabkan peningkatan penggunaan gawai di kalangan pelajar, yang berdampak pada penurunan fokus, retensi informasi, dan prestasi akademik. Dalam konteks pembelajaran sains, skor kompetensi sains Indonesia yang terus menurun menunjukkan perlunya inovasi dalam metode pengajaran. Salah satu pendekatan yang dapat diterapkan adalah penggunaan Augmented Reality (AR), yang terbukti meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dan pemahaman konsep materi pembelajaran. Mengusung tajuk Understanding Physics through AR Application (UPARUPA), sebuah aplikasi marker-based AR yang dirancang untuk membantu siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) dalam memahami konsep fisika kelistrikan. Aplikasi ini dikembangkan dengan metode Successive Approximation Model (SAM) serta menerapkan prinsip Child-Computer Interaction (CCI) untuk penyesuaian User Experience (UX) dengan kemampuan kognitif siswa. Dibandingkan metode pembelajaran konvensional, UPARUPA menghadirkan pengalaman belajar yang lebih interaktif, visual, dan adaptif, sehingga dapat mengatasi keterbatasan pembelajaran konvensional. Dengan demikian, aplikasi ini berpotensi menjadi solusi inovatif dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran sains berbasis teknologi. Aplikasi ini duji dengan metode Black Box Testing dengan hasil 100% dan System Usability Scale dengan skor 70,06 yang dikategorikan sebagai Acceptable dengan grade rating OK. Uji Melalui hasil dari pengujian deteksi marker diketahui bahwa semakin tinggi feature marker maka semakin mudah dan cepat sebuah marker terdeteksi. Sedangkan uji rekayasa marker memberikan hasil hampir serupa pada indikator pengujian di setiap tingkatan feature marker, kecuali pada uji pemotongan marker.
